Djokovic wants tennis reform

Novak Djokovic would like to see a tennis reform in the team competitions. He sees “99 percent of nations” at a disadvantage.

Two is one too many – at least if Novak Djokovic has his way.

The world number one from Serbia is bothered by the coexistence of the two team competitions Davis Cup and ATP Cup. He sees only one solution. “In my opinion they have to unite to form a Super Cup,” said Djokovic (31) before his first appearance after winning the title at the Australian Open in Dubai.

It will be difficult for him to “play both competitions every year, so I have to choose one,” said the 17-time Grand Slam champion: “I hardly think that is a viable model for our sport.
