ATP: Murray auctions collectors’ items for the good cause

Andy Murray launched an online auction in the run-up to his charity show fight with Roger Federer. In addition to Murray’s Wimbledon racket, there are many other items that sports fans up to 6th place. November.

The British number one ended its tennis season in September, but will take a racket for the good cause in a few days’ time. At Andy Murray live, a charity event in Glasgow, Scotland will give two show matches and a coaching session with Roger Federer.

In order to raise even more donations for the event, Murray launched an online auction. Among others, rackets from Murray himself and his coach Ivan Lendl will be auctioned off. You can also bid for a signed glove from boxing champ Anthony Joshua or tickets for the Ryder Cup 2018.

Half of the proceeds will go to UNICEF and half to Sunny-sid3up, a relief organisation in Glasgow,”Last year we raised £305,000, and this year we’ve set ourselves even more goals,”said Andy Murray, who played his last match on the tour in Wimbledon’s quarter-finals.
