Tennis:”Complete package”: Federer raves about Zverev

Roger Federer won the ATP finals against Alexander Zverev (20) in three sets. The Swiss man fell in raptures after the match against 16 years younger Zverev.

“I see someone working for the future. It feels like he’s working up to playing at 23:24. This concerns his fitness, planning, organization – all these things,”said the 19-times Grand Slam winner.

Zverev brought “the complete package” with him. He proved this in the finals already in the third set against Marin Cilic, when Zverev was trailing 1:3 and 0:30.

The youngster’s comeback qualities are already impressive. According to Federer, Zverev will take a lot of the finals in London, not only in this respect.

“He’s already number three in the world, and will leave the finals with a lot of information, regardless of whether he reaches the semi-finals,”said Federer.
