Serena said yes!

Now it was time: Serena Williams married her long-time partner Alexis Ohanian and gave him the “yes” word in New Orleans. Some prominent guests gathered at the wedding.

The best female tennis player of all time is definitely under the hood. Serena Williams and her long-standing partner Alexis Ohanian said yes to each other last Thursday. The ceremony took place in the New Orleans and had prominent names on the guest list.

In addition to her sister Venus and her colleague Caroline Wozniacki, stars from a wide range of industries were gathered together: for example, the music glamour couple Beyonce Knowles and her husband Jay-Z, the actress from the well-known series Desperate Housewives Eva Longoria or the reality starlet Kim Kardashian.

Only in September the 23 times Grand Slam winner and Ohanian – co-founder of the platform reddit – got their first daughter. The two and a half months old Alexis Olympia Junior was of course the main star of the evening and stole the show from the bridal couple.

Williams is already planning her comeback on the tour in January 2018 and wants to defend her title at the Australian Open.
