ITF Round-up: Tayisiya Morderger wins twice
Tayisiya Morderger won the singles and doubles title in Heraklion, Lisa Matviyenko won in Antalya.
Tayisiya Morderger did justice to her favourite position in Heraklion/Greece (US$15,000). Morderger beat Anastasia Detiuc 7-5,6-2 as the top seed in the final and thus remained without any set loss throughout the tournament. The 20-year-old also won the doubles. Together with her twin sister Yana she won against Anastasia Detiuc/Elina Nepliy 6-2,7-6 (7).
Lisa Matviyenko was also successful: The 20-year-old won the title in Antalya/Turkey with a 6:3,1:6,7:5 final victory over Magdalena Pantuckova.
In the double in Zawada/Poland (15,000 US dollars) with a win: Shaline-Doreen Pipa – she won the final with Leonie Kung against Ina Kaufinger/Anette Munozova 6-4,5-7,[10-3].
In the men’s event, Marvin Möller lost 6:7 (4), 2:6 against the top seeded Czech Marek Jaloviec in the final of the Ricany/Czech Republic and thus missed his second ITF title in 2017.
Jakob Sude also reached a final. In the semi-finals in Heraklion/Greece (15,000 US dollars), he defeated Yaraslav Shyla 6-2,6-3 in the semi-finals, then lost to top seeded Carlos Gomez-Herrera 6-7 (3), 1-6 in the final and missed his first ITF singles title.
