ATP: Andy Murray does the trump
Whether Andy Murray actually made a negative decision on a BBC request is highly doubtful. The former number one in the world, however, showed great humour on Twitter.
Andy Murray likes to take time for his answers at press conferences, the two-time Olympic champion weighs his words, which is precisely why he usually hits the right note. Not unlike his way of playing on the court, where the Scotsman usually puts his opponents to good use before going on the offensive. In contrast to his press rounds, however, he has no sense of humour.
When it comes to Twitter, Murray has now shown a high reaction speed. Just a few hours after U. S. President Donald Trump tweeted that he would rather not accept a Time Magazine award because it was not yet certain to be given to him, Murray did so immediately. And cancelled the BBC. Whether the British TV station Murray has even confronted the issue is doubtful. But those responsible will have taken it with humour.
