The likeable Italian wants to quit and withdraw from the WTA tour. Vinci keeps a close eye on the place and date of her retirement from professional tennis. Where else, than in their home country Italy would be a suitable place for this step. In addition to the singles, the 34-year-old was extremely successful in doubles and was at the top of the double world ranking five years ago with her partner Sara Errani. Vinci won a total of five Grand Slam titles in the doubles competition and took advantage of her good volley game in the singles.
