I get support in planning and financing the tournaments. I get coaches for tournament trips and they help me play through wildcards tournaments that I couldn’t otherwise play.

We often see each other at tournaments, seminars and we write to each other.
What has been your best moment so far in your tennis career?
to win my first German championships as an unseeded player in 2014. It was an indescribable feeling.

The ITF tournament in Hechingen. Every year I felt super comfortable and played well. The audience in Hechingen has always supported me very well.

Ana Ivanovic.
What would you do if you hadn’t had the goal of becoming a professional tennis player?
I can’t say, because that was never an issue for me.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
I hope in the top 30 of the WTA.

I love watching series and listening to a lot of music.
What does home mean to you?
Home is family to me.
Where do you prefer to travel – and why?
I liked America very much. The diverse landscape and the national parks fascinate me.

My tennis stuff and an exciting book
What kind of music are you listening to?
pop music
Which book are you reading?
The Eye-hunter.
Your favourite TV show?
Greys Anatomy.
What other sports besides tennis are you interested in – and which athlete?
I love watching football and I am often in the stadium of VfB Stuttgart. I was impressed by the story of skier Ivica Kostelic.
What kind of sports on television do you switch off at?
Every sport is interesting and fascinating in its own way.
In your opinion, what do you need to bring with you in order to be successful in tennis – and in professional sports in general?
You must have the will to win. To do more than the others. Of course you also need talent, but hard work is what gets you there. Nevertheless, you must never lose the fun of sports.
