ATP: Becker about Kyrgios and Tomic

Boris Becker won the Davis Cup game against Australia (Fr. from 3 a. m. live on DAZN) very impressed by Nick Kyrgios’ last performances. In addition, the six-time Grand Slam champion defended Bernard Tomic’s escapades and is sure that he has the potential to become a top player.

“He has taken a big step forward,”said Becker before the Davis Cup’s first-round match of the Davis Cup over Kyrgios,”and impressed me with his performances in Brisbane and at the Australian Open. Even in the match he lost, he fought hard and didn’t lose his temper.”

Kyrgios won the ATP-250 tournament on the east coast of Australia. And he continues:”You learn how to play tennis, but not how to deal with fame. There’s no school for that either. You have to make these mistakes to get better. If he works hard and shows the necessary discipline, one day he will be a great tennis player again.”
