ATP Challenger: Kuhn and Köpfer on title course

Good chances for Nicola Kuhn and Dominik Köpfer to win Challenger: The German-Spanish has reached the finals in Budapest, Köpfer is in the final of San Francisco.

Nicola Kuhn makes the best of the fact that he was the last player to slip into the tableau of the ATP challengeer in Budapest: The Spaniard with German roots hate in the first round to fight hard with the Italian Andrea Arnaboldi, then won against the Hungarian Mate Valkusz in two sets before he took out two goals from the tournament: First with Jürgen Zopp from Estonia the number six, in the final round of the tournament.

He had caused a sensation at the Australian Open, but only in round four was Roger Federer defeated. In the final, Kuhn will now face Canadian veteran Vasek Pospisil.

In the doubles, Nicola Kuhn could also take home a title, having reached the final with Félix Auger-Aliassime. Together with the Croatian brothers Draganja, the two top favourites are waiting there.

Dominik Köpfer is also doing well: The German stands after a confident 6:3 and 6:1 against Dennis Novikov in the final of the ATP challengeer from San Francisco, plays against the unseeded Jason Jung from Taipei for the tournament victory and 90 world ranking points. Köpfer had already pointed out the week before, when he was only defeated in Dallas by the later winner Kei Nishikori.
