WTA: Tiebreak Event Stuttgart: Görges triumphs against Kerber in the final

Julia Görges won a tiebreak event at the WTA tournament in Stuttgart on Monday evening. After victories over Caroline Garcia and Laura Siegemund, Görges beat compatriot Angelique Kerber in the final.

After the round robin system of the WTA Finals in Singapore, the six participants Kerber, Görges, Siegemund, Kristina Mladenovic, Garcia and Coco Vandeweghe played a match tiebreak to ten points.

As the winner, Görges can look forward to 1,000,000 bonus miles from main sponsor Turkish Airlines.
