ATP: Marin Cilic under the hood! Honeymoon, however, must wait

The world ranking fourth Marin Cilic gave his long-time partner Kristina Milkovic the yes and organized a big party in his home country Croatia.

Tradition is very important at Marin Cilic. Especially when it comes to his wedding and personal life. The ceremony took place in his native Croatia with almost 400 guests. After the ceremony in Dubrovnik, the party continued at Revelin Fortress, an old fortress in Dubrovnik. The private event took place behind closed doors and without the press.

Dubrovnik was chosen as the location for a special reason. In 2008 Cilic and his wife met at a Davis Cup match. Designer Kristina Milkovic worked as a hostess and had direct contact with the number four in the world – eight years later the wedding bells rang.

However, there is no time for a honeymoon. Cilic will travel to Istanbul as reigning tournament winner to gain further clay court experience before the showdown in Madrid and Rome.

The time-out from the tennis circus is to be planned in the summer and the honeymoon there is to be made up for.
