ATP: Crazy Nick! Kyrgios imitates Federer serve – in the match
Nick Kyrgios is not only an excellent grass player in Queen’s – he is also a first-class imitator of his colleagues!
32 aces in 12 service games – Nick Kyrgios showed how strong he can serve in his two set tiebreak win over Feliciano Lopez on Friday.
Also against Kyle Edmund in the round before, Kyrgios played 32 aces, here in three rounds. But most of all, he unpacked the colleague imitator twice, right in the middle of the game!
Once the Australian made a perfect Roger Federer serve, then he made one on Gael Monfils… But see for yourself!
Not for the first time, by the way: Kyrgios had already imitated the Swiss Grand Champion in Stuttgart, and he also had a Henri Leconte serve version ready.
I wonder if he’ll go on like this today. From 2 p.m. CEST Kyrgios will play against the top seeded Marin Cilic, then Novak Djokovic and Jeremy Chardy.
“What are you waiting for, come to the Queen’s Club and watch quality tennis,” the 23-year-old twittered last night. And added: “I might even play some myself…”
