ATP: Nadal in the rankings very delicate in front, Marach on the other hand sovereign

The next leadership change in the world rankings: Rafael Nadal takes the lead again from Roger Federer. The double classification has a strong Austrian impact.

2,000 points have been awarded for victory in the Wimbledon tournament starting next Monday – only 50 separate the two current leaders in the ATP charts. Rafael Nadal now leads the rankings again after Roger Federer could not defend his title in Halle/Westphalia.

This should have no relevance for Wimbledon, however: Due to the greater success on grass in recent years, Roger Federer will be at the top of the tableau.

Like Federer, Alexander Zverev lost a few points (the German was in the final last year in Halle), but he is still in third place. Dominic Thiem is seventh in the ranking.

Borna Coric, who won the biggest triumph of his career against Federer in East Westphalia, made a leap to 21st place. novak Djokovic improved to 17th place after reaching the final at London’s Queen´s Club. What effect this has on the seed list for Wimbledon will become apparent in the coming days.

In the “Race to London” Federer Zverev has displaced from second place, but both players should have their place in the ATP final in London. As well as Dominic Thiem and Queen´s-winner Marin Cilic.

Oliver Marach and Mate Pavic are solitary leaders in the double-year standings, Nikola Maektic and Alexander Peya have made up a place despite their semi-final defeat in Halle and are now fourth.
