ATP: Photo emerged! Is Sascha Zverev now working with Ivan Lendl?

Alexander Zverev has set up camp in Tampa Bay to prepare for the hard court season in North America. Ivan Lendl should support him, because the two were sighted together on a training court.

The two were photographed in the famous tennis resort Saddlebrook. It is not yet known how long the cooperation will last.

Lendl is a former world number one, winning eight Grand Slam singles titles in his career. Most recently he trained Andy Murray to his first major triumphs, and a year ago the Czech was still working alongside the British in Wimbledon.

Third in the world rankings, Zverev has reached the quarter-finals of Grand Slams. The eight-time ATP title winner played Dominic Thiem in the round of the last eight in early summer, but after several long matches in the preliminary rounds, he was weaker in the game.

“I’m happy with the team I have,” Zverev said at the end of April, but added that only Boris Becker or Lendl are “the only ones that could be considered”. So far the 21-year-old has been looked after by his father Alexander, a brief engagement of Juan Carlos Ferrero ended with a pale aftertaste.
