WTA: Lisicki also fails early in Nanchang

Former Wimbledon finalist Sabine Lisicki is still waiting for her first victory at her tennis comeback after an injury break.

At the WTA tournament in Nanchang, China, 28-year-old Zhang Shuai from Berlin failed 6:7 (7) and Lisicki was the only German player at the tournament in China.

Lisicki had paused for about three months after an injury in Miami in March. Previously, she had only returned to the tour at the end of January after successful knee surgery. In the world rankings, the former number twelve has now slipped down to position 184.
