ATP: Alexander Peya and Nikola Mektic resigned in Washington

Alexander Peya and Nikola Mektic have dropped out of the ATP World Tour 500 tournament in Washington against Mike Bryan and Edouard Roger-Vasselin.

Bad start for Alexander Peya and his Croatian partner Nikola Mektic into the US hard court summer season: The two French Open semi-finalists lost to Mike Bryan and Edouard Roger-Vasselin in Washington 7:6 (3), 6:7 (5) and 5:10. Mike Bryan still has to manage without his twin brother Bob, the Wimbledon victory at Jack Sock’s side has shown that the temporary separation is quite successful.

Oliver Marach and Mate Pavic, who have already qualified for the ATP final in London, are in first place at the ATP World Tour 500 tournament in the US capital. Marach/Pavic will start with Mischa and Alexander Zverev. If I win, Bryan/Roger-Vasselin will wait.
