US Open: Day 2: The Wimbledon-Champs intervene

On day 2 of the US Open, other Germans are hoping to move on to the next round. Among them are Wimbledon champion Angie Kerber (from 6.30 pm in the LIVETICKER), Andrea Petkovic (from 5 pm in the LIVETICKER) and Alexander Zverev (from 8 pm in the LIVETICKER). In the men’s singles, the re-strengthened Novak Djokovic will be in the lead, as will Roger Federer in the night session (from 1 a.m. in the LIVETICKER).
