ATP: Del Potro to take revenge on Fognini in Beijing semifinals

Juan Martin del Potro has reached the semi-finals of the ATP World Tour 500 tournament in Beijing. The Argentinian beat Filip Krajinovic smoothly in two sets.

Juan Martin del Potro only had to work 62 minutes on Friday in Beijing – then the first seeded Argentinian had reached the semi-finals of the ATP World Tour 500 tournament. Filip Krajinovic only had something to oppose in the first set, but in the end he had no chance at 3:6 and 0:6.

In the preliminary round del Potro will now face Fabio Fognini. The Italian already celebrated his 43rd match victory against Marton Fucsovics in the current campaign, leaving nothing burning at 6-4 and 6-4 after 90 minutes. Fognini was well recovered from last week’s disappointment when he lost to Bernard Tomic in the final of Chengdu after four match points.
