ATP: Philipp Kohlschreiber wins nervous battle against Australian de Minaur
Philipp Kohlschreiber has reached the round of 16 of the ATP tournament in Stockholm.
The 35-year-old Augsburg player won the generation duel against the only 19-year-old Australian talent Alex de Minaur after 2:44 hours playing time with 7:6 (7:3), 6:7 (2:7), 6:1. Kohlschreiber now meets the Spanish veteran Fernando Verdasco.
Against the world rankings-31. de Minaur Kohlschreiber led in the second set for a long time with a break and missed four match points at 5:4 from his point of view.
