ATP: Vienna: Gasquet injured – new opponent for Dominic Thiem

Dominic Thiem gets a new first-round opponent at his home game at the Erste Bank Open in Vienna, because Richard Gasquet has withdrawn.

The Frenchman withdrew his nomination on Sunday afternoon after he had been examined by the tournament doctor – according to the tournament page of the Erste Bank Open. Gasquet suffers from a joint injury to the right hand.

Thiem will meet a Lucky Loser, who will only be determined after the end of the qualification.
