Service: Novak Djokovic – A crocodile does not stop anything
A crocodile can’t stop anything. According to the ranking published on Monday, November 5, 2018 by the ATP players’ association, Paris finalist Novak Djokovic and Lacoste brand ambassador is again the number one in the tennis world rankings.
Determination, stamina and fair play not only make the 31-year-old tennis player a true champion on the Centre Court, they also brought him back to the top of the world in tennis. To congratulate the new number one in the world on this great success, Lacoste has spectacularly projected images of Novak Djokovic and brand founder and tennis legend René Lacoste onto the building of the François Mitterand Library in Paris.
In 1933, tennis player and inventor René Lacoste, nicknamed “The Crocodile” because of the fighting spirit he showed on the tennis court, revolutionized the world of sportswear when he created the LACOSTE L.12.12 polo shirt. Its unique Petit Piqué fabric allowed the tennis players of the 1930s unrestricted freedom of movement. The LACOSTE L.12.12 polo shirt became an icon of a brand and a worldwide symbol of French elegance and timeless style.
After a long injury break in 2017, Novak Djokovic has regained his former strength this year – and won the Grand Slam tournaments in Wimbledon and New York City on the way to number one. Thus “Nole” goes also as Topfavorite into the ATP Finals in London.
