ATP Finals: Marach/Pavic lose – and have to unpack the slide rule
Oliver Marach and Mate Pavic lost their last group match against Lukasz Kubot and Marcelo Melo with 6:7 (4), 4:6.

Surprise in London: Australian Open winners Oliver Marach and Mate Pavic have lost their third group game in the afternoon – and are on the verge of being out of the ATP Finals. The top seeded duo had won their first match against Pierre-Hugues Herbert/Nicolas Mahut, but lost their second against Mike Bryan/Jack Sock.
Kubot and Melo are now also in one victory and two defeats – the starting position before the final group game in the evening between Bryan/Sock against Herbert/Mahut is therefore open: If Herbert/Mahut win, both they and Bryan/Sock continue to win; the same applies if Bryan/Sock win in three movements. However, if the Americans win in two rounds, they will be first in the group – second place goes to the team that has won the highest percentage of service games.
