WTA: Karolina Pliskova steals the coach from Barbora Strycova

Karolina Pliskova has apparently already found a new coach for the coming season. She will be working with Barbora Strycova’s current coach, which does not please her very much.

Tomas Krupa, former coach of Tomas Berdych and a member of Strycova’s team for the past two years, is said to have agreed on a cooperation with Pliskova. According to Strycova, the deal was made after the US Open, behind the Czech woman’s back.

“Our relationship is at zero, we don’t call each other girlfriends,”Strycova told Idnes. cz.”When she told me that she was interested in my coach, her manager was already on him. A little later, I had to use the phone to find out that it was over.”

Strycova has signalled that in case of doubt, they will continue to play with Pliskova in the FedCup.
