ATP: Grigor Dimitrov and Marin Cilic qualify for London

With Grigor Dimitrov and Marin Cilic, two other players have qualified for the ATP final in London. This leaves only two seats open.

Whoever claims that Grigor Dimitrov has lost the match in which he showed the best performance of the year 2017 can justify this well: The semi-final at the Australian Open, the five-set match against Rafael Nadal, in which Dimitrov had the best chance to reach his very first ever Grand Slam final, remained as one of the early highlights of the campaign, which is drawing to a close end, in the form of an early campaign.

Most recently Dimitrov had made it to the final in Stockholm, but Juan Martin del Potro was inferior there.

The Argentinean himself still sees little chance of taking part in London – however, the tournaments in Basel and Paris-Bércy next week would have to run optimally from the point of view of the US Open Champion 2009. Grigor Dimitrov had to cancel his start in Vienna at short notice.
