ATP: Nick Kyrgios wants to be recognized as a” good man
The Australian Nick Kyrgios gives intimate insights into his emotional life and surprises with a statement about his personal goals and his development.
The spirits of Nick Kyrgios are divided. The much-discussed personality seemed to have developed in the past season and celebrated great successes on the course. However, the Australian did not make ends meet without one or the other scandal, however, and continued to score negative points in terms of image among some fans.
But that’s exactly what the 22-year-old wants to work on. In an interview with 7 News Melbourne, Kyrgios spoke openly about his personality:”I think I’m going through a maturing process. Not everyone knows what’s going on in our lives, and I want to keep that a little bit under wraps,”explained number 21 in the world ranking.
The founder of the Nick Kyrgios Foundation is committed to helping children in need and wants to help young people with sport. Only recently, Kyrgios played tennis and basketball with disabled people and wheelchair users with a few colleagues – Kyrgios did not show any fear of contact.
I don’t want to be remembered as a good tennis player. I want to be remembered as a person who has helped people,”the Australian confessed. But also as a tennis player, people will surely remember the extroverted player. Already at the age of 22, Kyrgios is one of the absolute top stars of the scene and caused a sensation on the tour with spectacular points and unorthodox blows.
For the upcoming Grand Slam in Australia, Kyrgios is self-confident:”I have the feeling that I will achieve something big next year”. 22-year-old Kyrgios retired from the Australian Open in the second round last season.
