WTA: As an introduction to I. W.: Muguruza shines at the Oscars

Wimbledon winner Garbine Muguruza has prepared herself for the Indian Wells Hockkaräter tournament with a special performance. At the Oscar ceremony together with Skistar Lindsey Vonn, the Spaniard walked the Red Carpet.

The Indian sports journalist with the twitter name “Nikhila” stung a bit, but in the end she gave Garbine Muguruza some praise,”I still don’t know what she does at the Oscars. In 2017, she reached the quarter-finals in the palm-fringed tennis garden in the Californian desert. After a walk-through in round one, the opponent on Friday or Saturday is either Wildcard holder Eugenie Bouchard (Canada) or a qualifier.
