ATP: World Ranking: Roger Federer leads, but has to deliver in Halle

Roger Federer has overtaken Rafael Nadal again in the ATP World Ranking with his victory in Stuttgart. However, at the ATP World Tour 500 tournament in Halle/Westphalia, the Swiss is still under pressure.

Roger Federer has already returned to the top of the ATP world rankings with his entry to the final in Stuttgart, and his success in the final against Milos Raonic gave the Swiss player a small cushion on Rafael Nadal. However, the Swiss player must defend his title this week – last year Federer won the tournament in Halle/Westphalia and scored 500 points.

Alexander Zverev is still third, Dominic Thiem is in seventh place.

In the “Race to London” Nadal leads confidently, Federer is almost open-minded towards Zverev. Thiem follows in fifth place with just under 3,000 points.

It looks even better in the “Doubles Race”, Oliver Marach and Mate Pavic, in action this week at Queen´s Club in London, lead the annual ranking. Alexander Peya and Nikola Mektic are in fifth place. Mektic/Peya play in Halle.
