WTA: Wedding planned: Kiki Bertens marries her fitness coach

Kiki Bertens can not only look forward to her best season so far in 2018 – the Dutchwoman has also got engaged to her fitness coach.

In the Netherlands, preparations for a wedding may begin. Kiki Bertens announced on her Instagram account that she had become engaged to her partner.

The motion was probably based on her soon-to-be spouse. With the engagement ring on her finger, the Dutch woman shows herself on a picture and wrote below it: “I said YES to the love of my life. What a year! The ring is too small, but that’s not important at all!”

In fact, it can be seen that Bertens wears the engagement ring on her little finger instead of the ring finger.

The newly engaged couple has known each other for a long time. Bertens knows her fiancé from her own team. Remko de Rijke is at the same time the fitness trainer of the short-term number nine in the world.

Bertens had played the best season of her career this year, winning three titles and reaching the WTA finals in Singapore for the first time.
