ERIMA’s history begins in 1900 when the sportswear factory for gymnastics, gymnastics, athletics and fencing was founded in Reutlingen, Baden-Württemberg.

36 years later, Erich Mak took over the management of the company and was responsible for the company name “ERI-MA”. By taking over the business, Mak boosted innovation within the company and ensured that the sporting goods manufacturer became the supplier of the German Olympic team from 1960 to 1972. The players of the German national soccer team also wore the ERIMA logo on their chest and became world champions in 1974.

But above all one man should play a major role in the fact that the name ERIMA can still be seen on the sports fields of the world today. Wolfram Mannherz took up the German private label and established it as an outfitter of many teams from numerous team sports in Germany and abroad.

In addition to sports such as football, handball, volleyball and gymnastics, ERIMA is now represented in the professional tennis sector. The largest coup landed the manufacturer with its headquarters in Pfullingen, Baden-Württemberg, with the partnership with the German Tennis Association.

ERIMA has been the official outfitter of DTB players since 2014 and since then has been dressing Angelique Kerber and her ladies at the Fed Cup, as well as Alexander Zverev, Philipp Kohlschreiber and Co. at the Davis Cup with the right team outfit.

Probably the most prominent member of the ERIMA Family is Boris Becker, the new head of German men’s tennis.
