Davis/Fed Cup: DTB and Erima extend successful cooperation

The Swabian sporting goods manufacturer Erima will remain “official supplier of the German national tennis teams” in the long term – and thus an important partner of the German Tennis Association (DTB).

The contract extension was announced in the context of the 69. Ordinary General Assembly of the DTB this weekend in Wiesbaden.

“Cooperation with Erima started four years ago. Since then, we have had a strong and reliable official supplier at our side, which not only provides excellent support for the German national tennis teams, but is also intensively involved in amateur sports,”says Hans Wolfgang Kende, DTB Vice President Legal Affairs and Marketing. He adds:”Erima’s commitment strengthens the important basis of tennis sports in Germany and is therefore the right partner for a long-term and successful cooperation”.

Since 2014, Erima has been equipping the German Davis Cup and Fed Cup teams as well as all other national teams – among others in the youth sector, wheelchair tennis and senior sports – with presentation clothing. Starting in 2018, the German teams will be included in the new Germany collection of the Erima Teamline Premium One 2.0, which was first presented by Erima owner Wolfram Mannherz at the DTB general meeting. In addition, the traditional brand from Pfullingen is supporting the opening of the German tennis season with the DTB initiative” Deutschland spielt Tennis!

“We are delighted to be able to continue our successful partnership with the DTB,”said Wolfram Mannherz, commenting on the contract extension:”For Erima, team sport is at the heart of our efforts and we are proud to be able to support the representatives of the team sports concept in German tennis with the Davis Cup and Fed Cup teams. Tennis sports have a long and important tradition and history in Germany. We are happy to be able to continue writing them together with the German Tennis Association.”
