ATP: Djokovic in batting practice, comeback against Thiem?

Good news from the 12-times Major-Champs Novak Djokovic: He is finally back in his stroke training.

In the past few days pictures and videos appeared for the first time showing the djoker again playing tennis – most recently he was almost exclusively in fitness training and in rehab for the weakened elbow. Together with compatriot and Paris-Bercy finalist Filip Krajinovic, the former number one in the world is now working on his return.

Djokovic wants to make his comeback at the Mubadala World Championship, an invitation tournament from 28. till 30. December 2017. Here he was in good company: Rafael Nadal, currently in knee damage, also wants to take part and will meet Pablo Carreno Busta or Stan Wawrinka, who had operated on his knee, in the semi-finals. Djokovic also waits for the winner of the game between Dominic Thiem and Milos Raonic, who has also been injured since Wimbledon, after a walk-through.
