Davis Cup: Michael Kohlmann remains German Davis Cup captain

“Michael Kohlmann has done an excellent job over the past three years, under conditions that have not always been easy,”said DTB President Ulrich Klaus.The 43-year-old had played a “decisive role” in the victory of the German team in Portugal, and together we want to continue on the path of recovery in men’s tennis,”said Klaus.

Kohlmann, who has been in office since the beginning of 2015, is delighted “that our presidency continues to place its trust in me” The Davis Cup has always been the most important competition for him, even in his time as a tennis professional, and the work in the team with the players “has been a lot of fun for me as captain”.Germany must compete in the first round of the 2018 World Group in Australia.
