Ski Alpin: Two serious injuries in the ÖSV ski camp

Two alpine ski racers of the ÖSV suffered serious injuries in overseas training and will miss the coming Olympic season.
As the Austrian Ski Association announced on Friday, Rosina Schneeberger and Daniel Meier each suffered a tear in the anterior cruciate ligament.
Schneeberger was hit by the giant slalom training in Argentina, the Tyrolean’s right knee is affected.The 23-year-old travelled back to Austria immediately, where ÖSV doctor Christian Fink made the diagnosis on Thursday evening in the private clinic Hochrum.
The Vorarlberger Meier fell during a giant slalom in Coronet Peak in New Zealand and tore the cruciate ligament in his left knee.He was to set off on his journey home in the coming days.
