Ski Alpin: Anja Pärson reports sexual assaults

The “MeToo”campaign, which works against discrimination against women, is attracting worldwide attention. Former skier Anja Pärson has now also reported bad experiences with men in the social media.

“There was a time when some men made it a sport and spurred each other on to touch my breasts or my butt,”said the 36-year-old Swedish woman.

This happened to her on various dance floors in discos and bars, the Olympic champion continued in the slalom. She hasn’t dared to go out since.

“There were even days when men took the liberty of kissing me when they wanted to make a selfie. Sometimes they even held me by the neck,”Pärson wrote:”I just smiled to avoid a fight.”

Today, according to Pärson, she regrets not having resisted.
