Ski Jumping: World Cup opener without “Wunderkind” Domen Prevc

The kick-off of the World Cup will take place without Slovenia’s supertalent Domen Prevc. The 18-year-old is missing from the Slovenian team’s line-up for Saturday and Sunday in Wisla/Poland

Also the middle Prevc-brother Cene (21) was not nominated by chief coach Goran Janus after the last training course in Oberstdorf.

“Wunderkind” Domen Prevc had dominated the start of the season last year and won four jumps up to the Four Hills Tournament, but then lost a lot of ground.

The “big brother” Peter Prevc (25), the outstanding jumper of the 2015/16 season wants to attack again after a disappointing year.

In addition, Robert Kranjec, Yuriy Tpes, Anze Lanisek, Tilen Bartol and Timi Zajc, who had recovered after a rupture of the cruciate ligament, travel to Poland.
