Ski Alpin: First pole position for ÖSV ladies

In front of a home crowd, Mikaela Shiffrin won the 32nd place on Sunday. World Cup success of her career.

The US-American won the slalom in Killington sovereignly ahead of the Slovakian Petra Vlhova (+1.64 sec.) and the Salzburg-based Bernadette Schild (2.67). Katharina Gallhuber finished seventh as the second-best Austrian and achieved her best World Cup result.

The second halftime runner-up Wendy Holdener (SUI) was eliminated in the final.
