Alpine Skiing: Men’s Ski World Cup 2017/2018: Info, race, calendar, results
In the 2017/2018 Ski World Cup season, the main focus will of course be on the Olympic Winter Games in February 2018. But also off the hunt for gold, silver and bronze, suspense is guaranteed. The big question is whether Marcel Hirscher will be crowned overall World Cup winner for the seventh time in a row or whether he will be replaced this year. The 52nd. World Cup season will take place from 28. October 2017 until 18. March 2018. At the end of October, the World Cup kick-off in Sölden was on the agenda. In addition to the Olympic Games, the men’s races in Wengen, Kitzbühel and Schladming are the season’s major highlights. In the men’s event 38 World Cup races (subject to possible cancellations) will be held at 20 different World Cup locations. Even before the start of the season, it was overshadowed by the tragic death of French downhill skier David Poisson.

As a dress rehearsal for the World Ski Championships in February 2019, the final of the Ski World Cup season will take place in March in the Norwegian town of Aare.
