Ski Alpin: Rebensburg unharmed after crash in Super-G

Olympic ski champion Viktoria Rebensburg survived a serious crash at the World Cup Super-G in Val d’ Isere without being injured,”I’m fine,”Rebensburg told ZDF.

The 28-year-old girl from Kreuth am Tegernsee, Germany, had lost control and had been dug out of control,”I immediately realized that it was still in flight, that everything was calm in her body,”she said. The knee would “get a little thicker, but no problem. That didn’t look so great, but I’m lucky to have stable tapes.”

On the day before, Rebensburg had lost at 78. Lindsey Vonn (USA) finished seventh in the first Super-G of the weekend. Vonn resigned from the start on Sunday to face the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang/South Korea (9. till 25. February).

“My knee still hurts from yesterday, so I want to play it safe and give my body a break,”the 33-year-old wrote on Twitter.
