Snowboard: Ramona Hofmeister wins parallel slalom in Bad Gastein
Snowboarder Ramona Hofmeister has won the parallel slalom in Bad Gastein/Austria. In the final run, the 21-year-old won her first World Cup victory in this discipline 2.04 seconds ahead of the Russian Jekaterina Tudegeschewa. Selina Jörg failed in the quarter-finals and finished fifth.
Amelie Kober missed the quarter-finals in her second World Cup participation after her fracture of the ankle joint in November.
