Ski Alpin: Marcel Hirscher wins slalom in Wengen

Marcel Hirscher ends the curse and wins the slalom in Wengen for the first time in his career. With a total running time of 1:45:45 minutes, the player from Salzburg prevailed over Henrik Kristoffersen from Norway (+0.93 seconds) and Andre Myhrer from Sweden (+ 1.72 seconds).
Hirscher is celebrating his 8th birthday. Victory of the season and his 53. Overall World Cup victory. On the record Hermann Maier is missing only one victory.
Michael Matt finished sixth (+2.55 seconds) thanks to a strong second run, Marc Digruber (+3.56) finished tenth, Marco Schwarz finished 14th. Manuel Feller retires after fifth place in the second round.
