Ski Alpin: Super G in Kitzbühel on a shortened route
The new programme for the World Cup Super-G was established in Kitzbühel earlier than expected. The race is scheduled to start at 1 p. m., it will be staged on a shortened track. The starting point is the mousetrap, the finish line will be drawn at Oberhausberg, where the downhill training ended on Thursday.
The performance of the World Cup Super-G of the alpine ski men today in Kitzbühel (11.30 a. m.) was severely endangered. Due to the current weather and snow conditions, the track on the Hahnenkamm was closed to all in the morning. The jury and the organising committee wanted to re-evaluate the situation and then make a decision on the programme.
