Ski Alpin: Spectators threw snowballs at Henrik Kristoffersen
During Henrik Kristoffersen’s ride at the Night Race in Schladming, some fans took part in extremely unsportsmanlike actions. On the way to the intermediate best time, spectators threw snowballs on the track, Kristoffersen got irritated and was furious.
Incidents that are completely unworthy of a night race. The Norwegian was understandable in rage at the finish, letting his anger run wild in front of the camera. Even after Marcel Hirscher’s triumphant run, Kristoffersen was unable to catch up with his rival, informing him of the events immediately after his arrival at the finish line.
Scenes that you don’t want to see at a ski race, as the 54 time World Cup winner Hirscher admitted:”There are three or four fools in 50,000 people. I’m very sorry for him, I noticed at the finish that he was somehow different. Of course, it wasn’t so fine that it happened.”
Although the atmosphere in Schladming seemed extraordinary again, a big drop of bitterness remains after this action.
