Alpine Skiing: Hilzinger fears after crash around Olympic start

The alpine ski racer Jessica Hilzinger fears for her participation in the Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang/South Korea (9th place) after a training crash. till 25. February). The 21-year-old collapsed on Monday at the giant slalom practice on the Oberjoch, where she was preparing for the Junior World Championships.
Hilzinger suffered a compression fracture in the right tibial head and a slight concussion,”Jessica was lucky in the accident. We are now awaiting the healing process and will then decide at short notice whether a start to the Olympic Games is possible,”said DSV team doctor Peter Brucker.
Hilzinger said:”Of course, this is a big mess. Now I have no choice but to hope that I can start in Korea.”
