Ski Alpin: Jansrud wins Super-G in Oslo and World Cup Ball

One day after his second victory in the World Cup, Thomas Dreßen just missed another podium finish. At the Super-G in the Norwegian town of Kvitfjell, the 24-year-old finished eighth at the same time as the Austrian Max Franz, and to the surprise third place Brice Roger (France), who came with starting number 49, he was only 0.23 seconds short. For Dreßen it was the best placement in a Super-G.

Andreas Sander (Ennepetal) had an equally strong performance in the victory of Kjetil Jansrud (Norway), who celebrated his seventh victory in Kvitfjell ahead of Beat Feuz (Switzerland) and at the same time won the World Cup, Andreas Sander (Ennepetal): He was only a hundredth of a second behind Dreßen in tenth place. Josef Ferstl (hammer) became 24th. All three Germans are qualified in the Super-G for the World Cup final next week in Are, Sweden.

For Jansrud it was the fourth win of the small crystal ball in the Super-G and the third in a row. Since 2012, only Norwegians have won the overall ranking in this discipline.
