Alpine skiing: World Cup kick-off in Sölden: Race, TV broadcast and livestream, live ticker
The winter sports season starts at the end of October. As usual, the World Cup kick-off of the Alpine Ski Circus will take place in Sölden. Here you will find all information about the races as well as the TV and livestream transmission.
From a German point of view one can look forward to the comeback of two possible winners. Felix Neureuther and Stefan Luitz return to the World Cup after their serious injuries last season.
At the start of the 2018/19 season, the men’s and women’s singles will only have one race each on the agenda for the weekend. On Saturday the ladies will compete in the giant slalom, on Sunday the men will also choose their first winter winner in the giant slalom.
As in the previous season, Eurosport and the public broadcasters will broadcast the FIS Ski Alpine competitions. The sports channel Eurosport shows both races live on Saturday and Sunday. The pre-reporting starts 15 minutes before the start.
On the first race weekend, ARD shows only the decisive second races live on TV. Pre-reporting in the first begins at 12.30 pm. ARD is on site in Sölden with the following personnel.
You can’t watch the two races on TV? No problem. The SPOX live ticker provides a remedy. With the live ticker for the men’s race as well as with the live ticker for the ladies’ race you won’t miss a thing.
