Alpine skiing: crime thriller as a prelude! Hirscher leads wafer-thin – ÖSV quartet in top 10
Marcel Hirscher set the first best time at the season opener of the Slalom World Cup in Levi. After the first run, however, the series winner in the overall World Cup is only a thin margin ahead of Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen.
The great challenger to Hirscher is only seven hundredths of a second short. Behind them, Clement Noel (+0.38) follows somewhat surprisingly. With Michael Matt (+0.55) and Manuel Feller (+0.89), two other ÖSV drivers got a good first run and are within striking distance of the podium.
Marco Schwarz (+0.99) also placed in the top-10, but seemed to be weakened by back problems. This takes you to the entire intermediate result after the first pass.
Last year’s winner Felix Neureuther was not at the start due to a thumb injury. Alexis Pinturault missed his start to the season and retired. The second run starts at 13.15 (in the LIVETICKER).
