Top favourite Mikaela Shiffrin has finished the first round of the World Cup slalom of the alpine ski ladies in Killington as fastest. Bernadette Schild from Salzburg lurks only 0.29 seconds behind the American, while Petra Vlhova from Slovakia is third (0.54).

In difficult conditions with poor visibility Katharina Gallhuber set the sixth best time (+1.13).

Katharina Truppe (2.40) and Katharina Liensberger (2.80) were also in the top 15.
