Ice hockey: KAC pros put robbers on the run

Two players of the Klagenfurt ice hockey club KAC, 19 and 20 years old, were attacked by five young men in the city centre around 4:30 a. m. on Sunday night.
According to the police, one of the group snatched the 19-year-old’s cell phone out of his hand.When the latter snatched it back, the five men attacked the two hockey players and struck them.
The two athletes fought so hard that the criminal quintet took flight.Only after that did the 20-year-old realize that his wallet was no longer in his pocket.
Initially, the police’s search for the perpetrators was unsuccessful.The two hockey players received treatment for their facial injuries at the Klagenfurt Clinic.The athletes describe the perpetrators as about 17 to 20 years old.
