Handball: Berlin-Star apparently moves to Hungary
Petar Nenadic of Füchsen Berlin has been associated with the Hungarian top club Veszprem for months.Sky Sports says the deal is now in dry clothes. But fox manager Bob Hanning doesn’t know about it yet.
Hanning thinks it’s quite conceivable that Nenadic will be moving to Veszprem at the end of the season, explained to B. Z.but also that, to his knowledge, no decision has yet been made:”The situation has not changed.Veszprem’s interest continues.”
The foxes have no room for manoeuvre anyway. After all, the contract of the Serbian playmaker in the capital city expires in 2018.In any case, Hanning made it clear that the foxes will not take any financial risks in order to persuade the 31-year-old to renew his contract after all.
“Money is not the key.If someone wants to go, they can and should go.We will not stand on our heads in order to keep someone,”says the DHB Vice President.
Sky reports that the family reasons for Nenadic’s move to Veszprem are crucial. He wants to be closer to his family in Serbia.
